WORKING • WORKING • WORKING
Sarah Knowlton played the wildly over qualified secretary "Hal" on the first season of NBC's Working.
As she weathered the season's rocky first episodes of moldy jokes and uncertain directing,  I can't imagine that the irony was lost on this Yale trained actress who's work includes Broadway, off-Broadway, and Regional Theaters.  I'm not suggesting that Sarah is too good for television. In fact, it was great to watch her get better as the season progressed and to see the show finding its way.  The "Beat It" dance near the end of the season may have been worth watching all thirteen episodes!

This comedy was hyped as "Dilbert" but had the promise of Brazil. I, for one, held out hope that the show would find its legs this coming season because of my faith in the very talented Sarah Knowlton. I mean, if the producers had the good sense to keep a real actress around, they certainly were smart enough to discover the promise of their series.
